There are two different ways in which different holds are attached to a climbing wall: by bolts or by screws. Bolt-on holds are attached to the wall using t-nuts that have spikes that 'bite' into the rear of the wall to hold them in place. All the Bolt-on holds we sell are supplied with both bolts and t-nuts. Although if you already have bolts they are all compatible with both countersunk and cap-head bolts. Screw-on holds tend to be smaller and are attached to the climbing surface using wood screws to hold them in place.
