At Rock + Run we offer a fast and reliable shipping service at a reasonable price. We use both Royal Mail and Couriers to ensure that your order reaches you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Nearly all of our orders are sent on a tracked service, which means that virtually nothing goes missing, and when it does we will send out a replacement order free of charge.

Collect from Rock + Run

• This option is for customers who wish to collect their order from our outlet near Milnthorpe, Cumbria (our location)

• Please bring a copy of your confirmation email or order invoice for reference.

• Collection times are 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. If the order has not been collected within 10 working days we will try and contact you – if this fails we will refund your order and put the items back into stock.

Royal Mail

• Your order will arrive with your standard post.

Royal Mail Tracked

• If you include an email in your order, Royal Mail will contact you with the expected delivery date and confirmation of delivery.

• Occasionally some large items costing under £150 (crash pads etc.) will need to be sent with a courier (at no extra cost). In this instance we will contact you before despatch.

City Link Courier

• This service will require a signature upon delivery and delivery times are during normal office hours. Please see Next Day Courier Service

General

• Orders placed before 1.00pm will be despatched same day.

• Royal Mail deliveries will arrive with your normal post and would be held at your local Post Office for collection if undeliverable; your postman will leave a card if this is the case.

UK Next Day by 12.00 noon

• Orders must be placed by 1pm to be delivered the next working day by 12pm. Please note that we are closed over the weekend, and therefore orders placed after 1pm on Friday will not be delivered until Tuesday.

• A signature will be required at the shipping address

• For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland the Next Working Day by 12pm Service is often unavailable. We will contact you ASAP if this is the case. In some cases delivery times to these areas can take 2 working days.

• City Link will make 2 attempts to deliver the parcel. If they cannot deliver a parcel because there is no one available to sign for it, they will leave a card and return the goods to their local depot where they will be available for collection for up to 1 week. Alternatively a re-delivery can be arranged for £6 by calling us.

We have the facility to provide a guaranteed Saturday delivery service. The rate varies depending on the order and location, but will be a minimum of £20. Please telephone us on 015395 64540 if you require this service.

Items over £150 in value, or some particularly large items such as fingerboards will need to be sent with an international courier and therefore shipping will need to be charged at the European rate; for such items please telephone us on 015395 64540 for further details.

Please note that due to the massive variations in price of international shipping we may contact you to request an additional payment towards the shipping cost. This will normally be for particularly large or bulky items, or going to very remote areas. We will normally contact you within 1 working day if this is required.

Please note we can not send Crash Pads outside of the UK.

Orders to non-EU countries do not have to pay UK sales tax (currently 20%). The order total will be recalculated when you have entered your address details in the checkout. Please note that the customer is solely liable for any duties or tax that may have to be paid to the country of import.

TNT 2-7 Working Days

We ship via TNT (£30 for European non-EU Countries and £45 for Rest of the World).

Missed Deliveries

Royal Mail

• If your order cannot be delivered then your postman will leave you a card advising you of your missed delivery

• Your local post office will hold items for 18 calendar days before returning them to us. Any redelivery date must be within 18 calendar days of the first delivery attempt.

• 48 working hours notice is required for a redelivery (this will be the earliest date selectable online) – if your item is due to be returned prior to this point it will have to be collected.

• For security reasons Royal Mail Tracked items cannot be redelivered to another address.

City Link (Courier Service)

• City Link will make 2 attempts to deliver the parcel. If they cannot deliver a parcel because there is no one available to sign for it, they will leave a card and return the goods to their local depot where they will be available for collection for up to 1 week. Alternatively a re-delivery can be arranged for £6 by calling us. If the goods are not collected/re-delivered by this point the parcel will be automatically returned to us and you will be refunded the cost of your original order less £18.95, which is the full cost of the original delivery plus the cost of returning the parcel to us.
