The format is the similar to that used in the well-received Peak Gritstone East and the Western Grit volumes.
The Peak section gives trad routes and sport routes equal coverage with locations like Harpur Hill and Horseshoe quarries sitting alongside places like Aldery Cliff, High Tor, Harborough Rocks and Beeston Tor. In Yorkshire and Cumbria the emphasis is more on sport routes although plenty of trad routes are also included at the crags covered.
