The Bleaustone Compact Fingerboard is certainly not a deceiving title. It is this size because Bleaustone wanted to make a board which would be good for one arm training.

When using a fingerboard one armed you naturally end up in the doorway. On a regular sized fingerboard the holds on the extreme edges are sometimes unusable as you will find your door frames getting in your way. By deliberately keeping this board narrow you have noticeably more room for the holds. Of course it can still be used as a regular fingerboard if space is tight, but it is not going to be as good as a wider fingerboard if you do have space for one.

The Bleaustone compact features the same design principle of its bigger brother in that is still has the smooth lines and smooth texture. The holds are generally on the good size so that you can use one handed without the fear of popping off small holds.

The Holds:

• 2 medium flat edges
• 1 central sloper
• 2 slopey edges
• 2 small flat edges
• 1 central positive finger jug

The Bleaustone compact board would make a great secondary fingerboard for one arm training, or for those who are really pushed for space.
