The Grivel Evolution is Grivel's original hot-forged pick first manufactured in 1991. A thin profile and short tip height improve penetration on hard ice. The pick angle matches the curve of the Light Wing Alp Wing or older Grivel tools such as the Original Super Courmayeur, 90 Degree, Rambo (II) and Geronimo - i.e. the Black shafted Alpine tools. Ideal for cascade climbing.
