The compact pear-shaped Metolius Element locking carabiner is ideal as your everyday belay biner for crag and alpine climbing.

Pear shape accommodates most belay devices as well as a Munter hitch.
Large gate opening eases clip in; asymmetric shape helps ensure proper loading on optimal working axis.

Its a Krab..

What can you really day about a HMS Krab? well its a small HMS this one use it with my ATC XP as my belaying set-up. Screw gate is nice and slick never had a problem with it. And has the added bonus that it looks a bit nicer than your usual Krabs.
