The OMM Waist Pouch is a good option for long runs. It has a capacity of 3.5L and consists of a single zipped compartment. It will hold the essentials such as a small water bottle, gels/food, hat and gloves. You can store your jacket on the top of the Waist Pouch with the elastic compressor if you prefer. In addition there are two small elasticated pockets on each of the wings.

It is comfy to wear over the course of a long run and is a great option if you wouldn't be able to fill a small rucksack. Also bear in mind that you could use this with a high sitting rucksack (e.g. the OMM Last Drop) for added flexibility, or just to keep some key items for quick accessibility.
