I bought this map case after advice that it was the only one worth buying as others tend to fall apart. Several years later that advice seems to be true. It is very well designed, a good size for the maps and the plastic has a 'stickiness' that seems to hope the map/bits of paper in place. It is so watertight that one of the only issues is making sure you get all the air out so it is not bulky. To help getting the maps folded nicely to go in I have taken to tearing off the cardboard cover from all my maps, it allows you to fold/refold them much more easily and with this map case you do not need the protection from them. the only downside is obviously the price, but probably worth it for the saving in ruined maps. Also makes a good rest stop seat to stop your bum getting cold/wet.
