A multipurpose 3-in-1 device (pulley, self-jamming pulley, rope clamp / grab) for hauling a sack, raising a person, setting up a hauling system or selfbelaying.

Features:
Sheave with self-lubricating bushings is efficient and compact.
Chrome-plated steel cam has inclined teeth and self-cleaning slots to provide grip on wet, icy or muddy ropes.
Efficiently replaces the traditional pulley system set-up: pulley + carabiner + rope clamp / grab.
Also works well for Tyrolean traverses and for ascending rope...
Will find a place in all work or rescue kits.

Lightwieght locking pulley

The Mini Traxion is a lightweight pulley that has a clamp which only allows the rope to slip in one direction.

I use the Mini Traxion for big wall climbs when I have a haul bag and for ski touring as a device for crevasse rescue.

The device is very simple to use and can be set up much faster than the traditional prussik and biner combo. It needs to be used with an oval karabiner as the hole is quite wide and doesn't sit evenly on a normal biner. It is reasonably efficient and seems to be very robust.

For hauling heavy loads or if you're doing lots of it then it would be worth getting a system with a bigger pulley wheel as this will be more efficient but also heavier and more expensive.

A fantastic, multi-purpose little pulley.
