Loading... Please wait...If you're looking for one shoe that can handle a variety of different situations then the Force should certainly be worthy of your consideration. Equally at home indoors or out, on long routes, short routes, or boulder problems, the Force is a capable all-rounder. One step above entry level shoes such as the Scarpa Vantage or Boreal Joker the Force has enough precision and sensitivity for harder routes and problems whilst lacking the aggressive heel or down turned toes of more specialist shoes.
The fit is relatively high volume, so should suit those with a broader foot. In comparison with other shoes the Force is most similar to the Five Ten Rogue, or Evolv Defy (although stiffer than the Defy, which is very soft)

The Scarpa Force shoes are the most comfortable rock shoes I have used. The heel on the shoe is not too thick and has a comfortable angle which makes them great for all day use. I generally use them both indoors and outdoors (on grit and limestone), and have had no issues with grip, and prefer these to my Evolv Pontas's. Another good thing is they don't seem to pick up stench as much as the Evolvs and 5:10s I have previously had. All in all a well constructed comfortable shoe that I’d highly recommend.

The most comfortable shoe i have ever had.
Fantastic fit for my wide feet and climbing better than ever, indoors and out.
Comfort wins over discomfort for me now.

SCARPA's Force is a versatile shoe for climbers who value both comfort and performance. I have tried numerous pairs of climbing shoes, but Scarpa Force are by far the best climbing shoes I have owned and it climbs great too.
Initially, I was sceptical about the Velcro, but this proves to be strong and it does not get undone whilst climbing, foot jamming etc., but they are easy to take off when you need to give your feet a rest.
The only less positive point about these shoes is that they are not downturned, therefore less suitable for overhanging/steep climbs.
Overall; great all round shoes!!!
