The Snap Quarter Pounder is back! This unique crash pad combines a compact easily storable and portable shape with a truly innovative set of design features, which offer a range of usable configurations.

When packed up for transportation the Snap Quarter Pounder provides very compact (for a crash pad) cube-like dimensions of just 75x50x46cm; making it ideal for smaller cars, long walk-ins, air travel and carrying on a bike. In use it can be configured to the shape of a thick (11cm) full sized bouldering mat, but equally can be laid out lengthways (300x50cm), making it ideal for traversing. Finally, the "Pounder" can be used in two separate pieces, making it useful for covering potential hazards separated by a sizable distance.

As with all Snap full sized crash pads the internal mechanics of the Quarter Pounder offer a sturdy dual density (closed cell and open cell) foam combination, providing a massive 11cm of impact protection. The foam is just about the best quality available from any crash pad brand and will stand up to a full tilt hammering year after year. Externally, the Snap Quarter Pounder utilises a tough rip-stop polyester landing zone (incorporating a neat logo foot mat) in combination with a grippy rubberised fabric on the under side of the pad (rather than the slippy PVC used on the original version). A simple but comfortable padded rucksack harness makes for a pleasant carry-in and can be quickly and simply removed at the crag if required, via one of the simplest Velcro locking closures we've seen. This is topped off with burly metal buckles and 4 grab handles.
