Tendon Black Static rope is suitable for military use, caving, abseiling or as a safety/security rope for all outdoor sports - although not suitable for lead climbing. Semi-static ropes should also be soaked in water and allowed to dry slowly. This process allows this rope to shrink by approximately 3% naturally and this shrinkage should be allowed for when ordering lengths.
